Elmar Toime, Chairman
Mr Toime, also Director of Proiam LLC, served as CEO of New Zealand Post from 1993 to 2003, a period when it enjoyed consistent growth and considerable diversification. In 2002 he supervised the establishment of a full-service retail bank, Kiwibank Ltd, as a fully owned subsidiary of New Zealand Post. Mr Toime also served as Executive Deputy Chairman of the Royal Mail Group. He is a member of the supervisory board of Deutsche Post A.G. and chairman of the supervisory board of message A.G., a postal consultancy. In 2004 he was awarded a life-time achievement award for leadership in the postal industry. He lives in London.
Michael J. Murphy, Founder and CEO
Mr. Murphy – also Executive Chairman of Proiam LLC, a board member and investor in Trans European Distribution, and board member of Singapore Post – has more than 29 years of experience in the high-tech and financial services industries, building high-performance, distributed, transaction-oriented environments. He founded Escher Group in 1989 and grew the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company to world leadership in postal counter-automation software, with clients in more than 30 countries. He holds a number of technology and design patents, and lives in New Hampshire in the United States and in Dublin, Ireland.
Omar Dajani, Principal
Mr Dajani also serves as President of IGI. Prior to joining IGI in 2002 he was Program Manager for the United States Postal Service Engineering Department responsible for the design and implementation of various retail and logistic systems. He is part of the team that holds a patent for the USPS self-service kiosk, the Automated Postal Center. He holds a BS in Electronic Engineering from George Mason University, and a Masters Degree in Engineering and Technology Management from George Washington University. He resides in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife and three children.
Mark Durbin, Principal
Mr Durbin, also Chief Technology Officer of Proiam LLC and IGI, has spent 20 years developing and delivering software to the world's post offices. As a principal consultant at Unisys in 1988 he developed counter automation and kiosk software for US, UK, Taiwan and various central European post offices. In 1995 he co-founded Postal Solutions Limited and spent a further nine years developing postal systems in post offices in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. In 2004, he moved to Escher Group and became Executive Vice President of Development and Chief Information Officer with overall responsibility for the worldwide development group.
Pam Hoodes, Principal
Ms Hoodes also serves as Chief Operating Officer of IGI. Prior to joining in 2008, she was Executive Vice President at Escher Group, managing their USPS account, as well as Marketing and Creative Services. She has more than 30 years experience working in the software and Internet sectors, with a particular focus on the areas of financial services and high-tech. She developed a number of software products before moving into product management, marketing and user interface design. Ms Hoodes holds a BA in Computer Science/Business from Antioch College, and lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
Wilson Pearce, Principal
Mr Pearce, also Managing Director of Proiam LLC and Deputy Chairman of IGI, served as a Vice President for the Escher Group prior to joining Postea, with responsibilities in the market and product development areas. He has worked for Canada Post Corporation’s International Business Group, and also served as a Regional Vice President for Canada Post International. He has provided project management, plus specific business consulting expertise to clients within the international postal and courier community on a range of retail, logistics and business transformation projects.
Alan Ward, Senior Adviser: Architecture and Design
Mr Ward, also Senior Advisor to Proiam LLC, has been involved with software for most of his working life. His specialisation is in large, complex, transaction-based systems. He was Project Architect on a number of large UK government systems, including those for for the Inland Revenue and the Department of Social Services. He subsequently became Chief Architect for the UK Post Office Horizon system from 1996 to 2000. Before joining Postea, he worked for Escher Group, most recently as Chief Designer. In that capacity, he oversaw development of their counter application software, and was heavily involved in the analysis and design of most of the systems they delivered to customers.
Will Crosby, Associate
Mr Crosby, also Creative Director of Proiam LLC and IGI, has over 30 years experience in brand development, user experience architecture, and human factors – working with clients such as NEC, Lotus Development, Polaroid, Mathsoft, General Electric Medical Services, Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, Converse, Ocean Spray, the John Hancock Insurance Company, and the Smithsonian Institute. His work has been recognized with numerous awards from the design, marketing, PR and technology fields – including Hatch, Ace, Print Magazine, Graphic Design USA, and Corporate Showcase.
